I was afraid that would be the answer. Microsoft is taking too much control of a product I buy and own. I should be able to set as I want. I don't think it is Microsoft's business what apps I use, what drivers I use, etc.

I know it's not your choice either what MS does and I do appreciate your answer. I don't like the MS map app. I like Google Maps and I will continue to use it.

The last time I gave feedback was on the phone with tech support. I wanted to know of a way for Windows 10 updates to stop changing certain drivers. He explained there was no way to do that n the home version. I asked that he pass on a request to allow that. He said that is Microsoft's policy and they are not going to change. He said I can pass it along though if you want me to. My confidence in MS listening to my feedback is very low though I do appreciate your suggestion.
